What Are Nonograms?
Nonograms — also known as Picross, Griddlers, or Hanjie — are picture logic puzzles invented in the late 1980s. You start with an empty grid and use numeric clues along the rows and columns to determine which cells should be filled in and which should be left empty.
Each number represents a consecutive group of filled cells. Multiple numbers mean multiple groups separated by at least one empty cell. By cross-referencing the row and column clues, you can logically deduce every cell — and when you're done, the filled cells reveal a hidden picture.
